Thursday 7th April sees an increase in the price of a First Class stamp from 28p to 30p with Second Class stamps remaining at 21p.

Royal Mail claim that the price of postage for 40% of the items which make up their daily mail bag will remain unchanged, with some business users seeing increases and decreases depending on the nature of the parcel. Special Delivery Services and international mail will increase whilst some bulk business mail rates will fall.

Meanwhile craziness continues to abound on eBay where the Royal Wedding miniature sheets have been trading hands for £30 upwards (one punter paid £47!). Do people not realise they can be purchased directly from the Royal Mail website for £1.96?
