A new set of stamps are being issued by New Zealand Post to celebrate the release of the latest remake of King Kong’ this time directed by New Zealander Peter Jackson.

Five stamps will be released on 19 October’ along with a host of related products including a collectors’ pack’ souvenir cards’ first day cover’ miniature sheet and bubble bags. The designs of the five stamps are as follows:

45c - King Kong
90c - Carl Denham
$1.35 - Ann Darrow
$1.50 - Jack Driscoll
$2.00 - Ann Darrow and Jack Driscoll
